Medicum provides a comprehensive healthcare journey in Tallinn and Harju County, creating synergy between family medicine and independent nursing care, specialist medical care, rehabilitation services, imaging and functional diagnostics, and a medical laboratory.

Medicum is the largest outpatient general and specialist healthcare provider in Estonia, having grown out of the Lasnamäe Polyclinic, which began operating in 1986. The organisation employs more than 450 people.

Medicum also hosts a training and counselling centre, as well as a research and development department, and actively participates in international clinical studies.
